I went to the bank in . . .

my birthday suit!

There, I said it.  I needed to deposit a check, and rather then go through all the trouble of getting dressed after my shower, I just went into the bank without so much as a towel.  Deposited my check, and off I went to the rest of my errands for the day.

It was liberating, and not all awkward.

Okay, so I should probably also point out that my phone is one of the new Android based pieces of iPhone death, and as such, I can deposit checks by simply logging into my account, snapping the front and back of the check, and hitting send.  The bank does the rest, and the money's in my account before I've even left the house, or in this case, my bedroom.  Gotta tell you, it was awful convenient!

The marvels of modern technology! I love my Droid... it is so convenient! Know how frustrating it is to find something interesting in a big box store that has no price tag? I use an app called Shop Savvy... scan the barcode, and it gives me the price at various chain stores and online stores. I love it!

I love, love, LOVE my iPhone banking app! It seemed a little weird at first, but I must say... banking has never been less of a pain in the butt!

Enjoy reading your blog. Good stuff!

Cheers,
Kate

Hello Ladies!

Michelle, yes, I love my Droid, and Shop Savvy is so sweet! Been using it for a while and it's been saving me trouble, money and effort by not having to run around so much. Shop Savvy and so many other apps, yes, there's and app for that! :)

Rhiann, I like a cute turn of phrase, or way to make this more that some boring self involved check babbling. I've always appreciated good writing, and it's kind of left an indelible mark on my soul.

Katey, yes, exactly! Weird at first? Heck yes! Down right freaked me out. But then the convenience, ease of use, and sheer joy it gave me by saving me from having to go to the bank won me over! by it iPhone or as in my case, Droid, it's just so nice to have!

Thank you all so much for reading my blog.
